The return of C-actress Song Zu Er is definitely one of the big stories out of C-ent this year in 2025 and one of the positive ones with so many negative things that happened in the industry. Her two aired drama The Demon Hunter’s Romance and The Prisoner of Beauty were both hits and her performance garnered solid reviews for herself. She then went filming Wish You All the Best which has wrapped and there is a lot of rumors that many big scripts have been courting her. C-ent casting rumors this month say it’s most likely that her next C-drama will be the Tencent produced Song dynasty drama The Palace Stewardess (Si Gong Ling 司宫令). The rumors were out before including that the male lead will be Xu Kai, and in recent weeks it became clear that this will indeed happen at least with Song Zu Er picking this project. As for the male lead, it remains unconfirmed but Xu Kai sailed through his summer past dating and running a poker game scandal so it could still be him.
