Already?!? The cast and crew of the red hot TW-drama Drunken to Love You held a wrap party yesterday night to celebrate the completion of filming. Well, I guess there goes the live-shoot component of this drama, heh. I’m thrilled it’s wrapped because this means there will be no chance the network will request an extension to milk it’s sure … Continue reading →
After a whirlwind two weeks since the premiere of Drunken to Love You, I think I’ve finally settled down. As the drama continues to get better and better, I conversely continue to mellow out in my appreciation for this joyfully crafted story, learning to savor the beats and go with the flow. I think I can survive this live-watch now, … Continue reading →
I’m clearly not the only one worried that TTV is releasing extremely detailed written previews for Drunken to Love You. Some folks wonder if this will affect the ratings, which I think highly unlikely. Anyone desperate enough to scrounge for a written preview will probably watch the episode. My worry is how knowing so much of what will happen will … Continue reading →
Drunken to Love You released another (shorter but different scenes) preview for episode 3. I’ve embedded both previews below, so enjoy the cute. I’m a little exasperated because my very nice request at the beginning of my episode 2 recap for people to stop lifting my DTLY stuff wholesale went unheeded. I didn’t want to have to do this, but … Continue reading →
For those of you addicted to Drunken to Love You, I’m here to tell you that the next few months is going to be lots of fun. Whenever there is a runaway drama hit in TW, if it’s a live-shot drama, the media goes berserk and the cast and crew have tons of fun filming and giving ridiculous interviews all … Continue reading →
A housekeeping matter first – I’ve been alerted to the fact that my DTLY posts have been lifted (some with and some without proper credit) and have been floating around drama cyberspace in various sites. I hate being a school marm with the big stick and having to explain cyber-etiquette, but please don’t take my work, for this drama or anything at … Continue reading →
I’m not sure if going forward I should be bringing these written previews for Drunken to Love You (the English title has apparently been shortened to Love You, but I’m going to stick with the literal translation because I’ve grown inexplicably fond of the poor grammar of it all). Thats because this is no preview, it’s a full blown … Continue reading →
Drunken to Love You held a university viewing party/press conference yesterday, and lead actors Rainie Yang and Joseph Chang took time out of their busy filming schedule to attend the event. What’s notable was that an extended video clip was shown of upcoming scenes from the drama, including a sneak peak at one very steamy bed scene to come. Rainie … Continue reading →
One episode in and I am totally in love with Drunken to Love You. This might be a new record, or else I’m getting easier with age (probably the former, since my crabby nitpicky mood towards many dramas recently negates the possibility of the latter). DTLY is magical, wonderful, sublime – a rom-com that can be crass, whimsically funny, and … Continue reading →
Today saw the premiere of the SETTV drama Drunken to Love You. Below I’ve brought the three songs that appeared in the first episode, and all three songs are immediate and utter love for me (I’ll talk about episode 1 later, but the fact that I am posting about this drama’s songs should indicate what my feelings are). The opening … Continue reading →
In preparation for this weekend’s premiere of the TW-drama Drunken to Love You, I hereby bring the detailed character synopsis for the main cast, and well as the plot outline (it’s a three-month marriage contract, yo!). It’s not terribly spoilery, especially since as a live-filmed drama I suspect the script for DTLY remains subject to change depending on how well received … Continue reading →
It’s finally here! This coming Sunday SETTV will premiere Drunken to Love You with Rainie Yang, Joseph Chang, Tiffany Hsu, and Kingone Wang, and the entire cast was trotted out for the obligatory press conference yesterday. I don’t know if everyone swallowed pretty pills, or I’m wearing a pair of rose-tinted glasses, but wow does the main cast look great, … Continue reading →
SETTV is finally dropping the motherlode of trailers and teaser for its upcoming Sunday night TW-drama Drunken to Love You. The more I see of this drama the more I want to watch it. While it don’t think it can get close to the incredible ratings Fated to Love You garnered (which I attribute to the breakout of Ethan Ruan … Continue reading →
