MBC to Reassemble Epic Cast of 2007 K-drama Coffee Prince for Remembrance Documentary to Air in September 2020

Hold my beer because I have to both squeeeeeee and then down the beer with fist bumps because this news is so unexpected and so awesome I can’t even contain myself. The mega hit 2007 K-drama Coffee Prince, further launching and cementing the careers of leads Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye, has also with time also proven to be the launching ground of every single one of its supporting stars. Second leads Lee Seon Kyun and Chae Jung Ahn, and of course the entire coffee prince family of Kim Jae Wook, Kim Dong Wook, Lee Eon, and even veteran Kim Chang Wan. MBC is in production on a special 1-hour special on CP, assembling the main cast with of course the sad exception of Lee Eon who passed away a few years after CP in a motorcycle accident. The special will have everyone revisit the heady experience of filming CP, especially when so many of the cast members were so young in real life, what it meant to them, and how they reflect on being part of such a seminal drama today. This is going to make me cry, I know it.
