A new SBS drama will be adapted from the French Le Mante and uses the same title of Mantis. The leads have now been confirmed as veteran actress Go Hyun Jung and young leading man Jang Dong Yoon, this time playing an estranged mother-son with a very dark history. Go Hyun Jung is a female serial killer incarcerated for killing 5 men twenty years ago, and her grown up son is now a police detective working on a case that seems to be copycatting her killing spree. The drama is from the PD of upcoming MBC drama Black Out and the screenwriter of 12.12: The Day and will air sometime in 2025.
