Filming has started for early fall KBS drama When Camellia Blooms and I’m super excited to see leading lady Gong Hyo Jin back on the small screen. With the major networks either ending Mon-Tues dramas or putting it on hiatus, it just means fewer dramas in general and also likely less opportunities to see actors and actresses as often as we used to. Gong Hyo Jin does about a drama every two years in the last decade but I’m thinking she’ll be even pickier so I’ll savor this one and hopefully it’s going to be good. She plays Dong Baek or the titular camellia, running a bar of the same name and getting tangled up with three different men who frequent her joint.
