Fashion King with Yoo Ah In and Shin Se Kyung Release First Teaser

If Fashion King is one-tenth as hot as this poster of leads Yoo Ah In and Shin Se Kyung, I’ll probably be over in the corner giggling like a school girl. Talk about rawr. The first teaser is out for the upcoming drama about aspiring fashion designers set in New York and Seoul. While I don’t have high hopes this drama will have stellar writing, I am curious how the story will incorporate the scenes shot in the States into the story line aside from wedging a location suit to drum up interest. I’m not terribly fond of Yoo Ah In’s character prototype (the hot-blooded guy with a dream trying to make it), but I am loving the fact that he finally gets his first starring drama vehicle. Shin Se Kyung is lovely as always, but I hope she brings it more in terms of the heat meter with her leading man than in her previous outings. I like second male lead Lee Je Hoon, and I have no comment on the positive nature about second lead Yuri, so I’m happy to stay mum on that topic. Fashion King was supposed to be a cable drama but has since been picked up by SBS and will air starting March 19th on Mon-Tues following History of the Salaryman.
