I’m still in a good mood with Song Seung Heon‘s last drama Black, I loved both the drama and his swaggering and sensitive performance as the Grim Reaper turned reluctant cop. I’m glad he’s sticking with procedural dramas rather than go schmoopy romance and up next is another OCN drama called Player (former Pan and prior to that Hustle). It’s a drama about a rag-tag squad of position player types gathered together to pull off heists on other criminals concealing ill-gotten gains from the authorities. It’s the baddies steal from even worse baddies trope and I love it, allowing main characters to skirt around the law and still make me root for them. The first teaser is out and looking good, with supporting leads Krystal and Lee Si Un decently charismatic as well.
