The end of September seems like such a perfect premiere date for upcoming K-remake of a dark and emotionally twisty J-dorama original. Hundred Million Stars Falling From the Sky (The Smile Has Left Your Eyes) dropped another visually stunning trailer this weekend, with so much depth in nuance from the camera angles, color palate, and subtle loaded expressions in the leads. Jung So Min and Seo In Guk are clearly up for the challenge, him being the maybe sociopathic and definitely apathetic lothario with a giant chip on his shoulder and hole in his heart, and she’s just this radiating warmth and goodness to shine a light on his darkness.
