Lee Jong Seok and Lee Na Young Lead Script Reading Session for tvN Drama How to Publish Love — 14 Comments

  1. I agree with you. They don’t look suited together visual. Sadly this is last drama before he enlists in the military.

They really look like auntie/nephew haha but I always have a week spot for noona dongseng romances like in I hear your voice.

  2. Visuals are quite weak. To me, LNY has somehow lost her charm in these stills… Supportive cast also looks weak. Is LJS still an “It Boy”?

  3. Dependent on the first episode and if the chemistry is there well that’s a sure tell sign of good things are gonna happen. Followed by the storyline and scriptwriting then everything should fall into place and this age/visuals compatibility that’s being raised will just take a back seat. That for me is the benchmark that I like to base my drama viewing on and so far so good I’m on track happily plodding along with my fair share of dramas right now.

    • Pretty much. I give it till episode 2 to capture me, if it’s good it’ll do it by then

I forgot I actually like LJS as an actor, was watching Pinocchio recently on Netflix and surprised by how good his chemistry was with Yoon Kyun Sang as brothers. It’s just that While You Were Sleeping followed that formula but couldn’t get the actors to recapture that same magic, both the lead and supporting cast of Pinocchio were just several levels better. Like the difference between scratchy acrylic sweater and genuine 100% merino wool sweater, even if both look the same in pictures, you can feel the difference once it’s worn.

  4. I like the PD! Life on Mars and The Good Wife were great remakes! I liked I Need Romance series too. For the casting, I think I never watched a drama with LNY and for LJS it depends on the roles.
