Eric, Yoo In Na, and Im Joo Hwan Make Striking First Impression in Poster and Teaser for MBC Drama The Spies Who Loved Me

Oooooh, I really love this poster. It’s not groundbreaking but it’s very striking and frames the leads beautifully in gorgeous primary colors. MBC‘s next romance drama will be The Spies Who Loved Me, taking over the time slot from When I was Most Beautiful. I haven’t heard much about it as it was quietly filming last few months but it was for sure on my to-watch list with all three leads being faves. Eric is a spy for Interpol who plays wedding dress designer Yoo In Na‘s first husband, and after her divorce she marries Im Joo Hwan who is also unbeknownst to her a corporate spy. Like, she just can’t get away from them lol. I’m going to want both guys to get the girl but of course if there is a second male lead to be sacrificed at the altar Im Joo Hwan certainly has plenty of experience there. The teaser looks cute enough but mostly just whets our appetite with the three leads attractive visuals.

  1. The plot seems new. The actors had enough experiences and veteran in drama land. But after all the writing is important. We’ll wait and see.

  2. I hope this interesting premise is not just a wasted backdrop to melo or romance. Im Joo Wan looking good in that poster. I want him to hit it big already, he’s so talented!!

  3. Why does a strong independent woman have to end up with either guy. I’d love to see a drama where the female lead decides that neither dude is up to her standards.

    • The drama hasn’t started yet. So, why don’t we just keep any speculations. This is not romentic comedy I guess since the plot seems focus on one of the missing friend.

    • A woman can be strong and independent and also have a love interest, you can have both. She can be strong and idependent if she’s single but she can also be strong and idependent is she’s with someone, that’s how healthy and adult relationships work.
