Ro Woon Romances Won Jin Ah In New Promos for jTBC Drama Sunbae Please Don’t Put on That Lipstick

There are countless K-actors who shot to fame romancing older noonas on dramas and I’m going to say Ro Woon is primed to join their club. The new previews for jTBC drama Sunbae Please Don’t Put on That Lipstick (English title She Will Never Know) is just a billion percent Ro Woon being swoony. Sure I already have a soft spot for him since Extraordinary You but that’s no guarantee he can cross that bridge to the broader public. But seeing how well he’s holding his own in the promos and he’s so believable that he could sweep an older woman off her feet. Or maybe just me ahaha, but you watch and judge for yourself.

  1. You can call many Kdrama actors swoony. Ro Woon is more than that, he is genuinely sexy and has all the characteristics of what used to be called classical “romantic lover” actor. I mean in the theatrical stage role classification – emploi in French. On the stage, every good theater producer knows which actor gets romantic hero role or who will play the villain, or the action hero. Today, actors try very hard to prove themselves “versatile” to the directors and the audience. Many take on roles (action, satire, villain) they are not well suited for. Big mistake. Nothing wrong with one well defined emploi, if you are good at it. And rookie Ro Woon takes my breath away as a romantic lover.

  2. I was not sure about his choice to make another webtoon adaptation after Extraordinary You. But it looks like any romance drama and his character is very different. I think Haru was a very difficult character to play and Rowoon did pretty well.

For now, I like the promotion stuff of this drama !

  3. The trailer does look swoony and so does rowoon, but is there an actual story? I hope it’s not all just romance and 5 percent story and 5 percent of office/company being the backdrop. The visuals are gorgeous but that’s all I can say at the moment haha

  4. i have never liked their acting. Won Jin Ah was so bad, Worst rather in melting me softly

I see another 1 to 2% range rating for Won Jin Ahs drama. por rowoon.
