C-actor Zhang Zhe Han Emerges From Cancellation with First Instagram Update Sharing New Pictures and Message to Fans — 31 Comments

    • Posting on instagram doesn’t say anything about his stan on C-ent. It’s instagram and he is of course free to post there and it doesn’t say much about his career in C-ent.

  1. If it’s true then will she be outed like Kim Seon Ho’s ex? Lying ex entrapping a celeb then receiving blackmail money.

  2. CAPA who placed a ban against him was questioned by producer Li Xuezheng who found the action was unlawful and Producer Li’s support is the catalyst to ZZH finally lodging a police report against CAPA. Even then, the path isn’t going to be easy for them with Producer Li’s weibo being muted for being vocal about CAPA unlawful conducts (ie. categorizing ZZH together with criminally charged individuals like Kris Wu and Zheng Shuang).

To this day, I still find the punishment against him is way to harsh. Sure, it was distasteful but he caused harm to no one and so to place a permanent ban on him by deleting his existence in C-Entertainment is ridiculous.

I am glad he finds support in someone like Producer Li though I know, it is going to be an uphill battle.

  3. What a coincidence. Just last night, his “husband”‘s, Gong Jun, past various cyber accts were dug up and those accts posted things like being a male host etc. But he is doing fine now already after mass deletion of posts and comments.

    • Some say that this incident is orchestrated by GJ’s team themselves to mimic ZZH’s incident in a controllable manner after seeing that ZZH fans became more loyal after that, and they want to make his own fans become more loyal as well.

      • What!!! that’s the most crazy logic ever with the GJ situation. He got caught eating at a restaurant when there was a restriction due to pandemic.
ZZH feel like an orchestrated attacks because there were many anti posts about this and that about him prior to the big blow out.

      • @laihonn It’s not crazy actually. Prior to this incident, various posts suddenly popped up on douban asking testing questions like whether will you still support your stan if he/she was found out to have a kid (one of the posts dug up in GJ’s current incident is about some pregnancy test), why are ZZH fans still so loyal to ZZH, must one undergo a huge scandal in order to become a top star etc etc.

  4. I shomehow I cannot post my comment, probably because it’s too long. So I am dividing it into several parts.

Koala, this is your blog so you have a right to write whatever. But because this case of ZZH cancellation is related to human rights of a person, regardless whether he is a celebrity or not, I hope you at least verified the info that you put about this case. It’s mindboggling how you still perpetuated misinformation and slander when over the past few months ever since Li XueZheng started to pick up the fight against this case of cyberbullying against ZZH, so many new facts have resurfaced and been verified. So you owe it to the victim of this cyberbullying case, ZZH and his family, to not perpetuate the misinformation and the horrible slanders further.

Let me get one fact straight for anyone reading Koala’s post and taking what is written here as truth.

    HE NEVER VISITED THE SHRINE.

There has been NO EVIDENCE that he has step his foot in the shrine. All he had done is following sakura path that unfortunately was around the public park in the vicinity of Yasukuni Shrine. This sakura path was even endorsed by CCTV, China’s own state media (https://teddyfoxfluff.wordpress.com/2021/11/16/cherry-blossoms-1/). He himself has said that he never visited the shrine and willing to be investigated and punished if he turns out to be lying (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65XP-0-HBGU). So in essence he was never even do something that is “personally distasteful” insinuated by this post.

Let me get one fact straight for anyone reading Koala’s post and taking what is written here as truth.

    HE NEVER VISITED THE SHRINE.

    • His case has become one of the biggest cyberbullying scandal in China and has a far reaching political and non-political consequences beyond the cancellation of ZZH (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObZibITCjpY). Reducing this case into a mere case of cancellation due to “personally distasteful” action trivialized the severity of this case and the suffering of the victim, ZZH and his family, and the possible consequences for other ordinary citizens in China.

This sakura path was even endorsed by CCTV, China’s own state media. He himself has said that he never visited the shrine and willing to be investigated and punished if he turns out to be lying. So in essence he has never even do something that is “personally distasteful” insinuated by this post.

      • Let me clarify, all the things that I mentioned here are related to Yasukuni Shrine. Because he was canceled due to his supposed visit to Yasukuni shrine. Not because of Nogi shrine or his frequent visits to Japan. Can you imagine how scarier it will be if he was canceled because of merely visiting japan as a tourist? The Nogi shrine, his frequent visits to Japan, and all the rest of rumors and slander are used only as supporting cudgel to further step on him. But the main issue has always been Yasukuni Shrine.

Please also remember, one of the most ridiculous rumor regarding his scandal was his picture with Dewi Sukarno. There is no more obvious proof than this rumor of how what happened to him is a coordinated attack, not merely him doing “personally distasteful” action. Right before 813, the page about Dewi Sukarno was fabricated and someone changed her husband from Sukarno (an Indonesian president who was friendly and had close ties to China in the 60s) to Suharto (the president during massacre of Indonesian Chinese in 1998). That’s how coordinated this has been that the people behind this case are willing to risk relationship between China and Indonesia just to get a hit on ZZH. Dewi Sukarno herself was forced to address this issue in one of her interview, vehemently denying herself for being anti China.

    • What about the Japanese wedding that ZZH attended at Nogi Shrine? He also posted at Yasukuni Shrine. As a foreigner, I am not commenting on the right or wrong about these Shrines. But your statement of “he never visited the shrine” is NOT TRUE and should not be typed in capital letters!!

      • HE NEVER VISITED YASUKUNI SHRINE.

        Happy now?

Besides Nogi Shrine was never among controversial shrines for Chinese with most Chinese not even familiar with the shrine until the information about the shrine was updated before 813 to make it seems like it was a controversial shrine. So Nogi Shrine was never a controversial shrine until 813. Heck even Nogizaka46 whose name was inspired by the military general of that shrine held a concert in China before.

And for your information, he was canceled not because of Nogi Shrine, but because of Yasukuni Shrine. So Nogi shrine is never relevant in the context of his case.

I would suggest you check the sources (Justice for People and teddyfoxfluff) I mentioned in the post before attacking me. Even a very prominent lawyer used his case as a study case of a very severe cyberbullying using political slanders case. People can see Justice for People youtube channel for Lawyer Speech about the Zhang Zhehan Incident for this.

      • I am happy that you have clarified your CAPITAL letters statement. You are wrong in leading readers of this blog to believe he never visited shrine. I don’t think Koala purposely perpetuated misinformation and slander. He did visit at least one shrine (if not “shrines”). You sound very passionate about his case. Why doesn’t he leave the country if he is being treated so poorly? There is never any freedom of speech in that country, and it is pointless for foreigners to argue here. Seem like he has lots of connections in Japan.

  6. Let me close my comment by saying that his case has become one of the biggest cyberbullying scandal in China and has a far reaching political and non-political consequences beyond the cancellation of ZZH (see “Lawyer Speech about the Zhang Zhehan Incident” video that I mentioned in my reply above in “Justice for People” youtube channel).

Reducing this case into a mere case of cancellation due to “personally distasteful” action trivialized the severity of this case and the suffering of the victim, ZZH and his family, and the possible consequences for other ordinary citizens in China.

    • If you want to know the severity of this incident and its consequences to ZZH and his family, you can watch “Zhang Zhehan Cancellation: 8 unimaginable consequences” video in Justice for the People channel.

For those who are lazy to watch the whole thing, let me list the impact of this incident to ZZH and his family: 1. His name being prohibited across the Chinese Internet. As ridiculous as this may seem, he cannot even buy things online using his own name; 2. His image, videos, voice being banned on any Chinese websites; 3. His and his family personal safety is being endangered, e.g. people stalked and sent funeral wraths to his family, 4. His and his family employment rights are being violated. Not mentioned in the video, but his Mother’s family business was constantly harassed by antis, 5. His rights to speak up are taken from him. Only negative comments about him are allowed by platforms, but any positive or neutral comments about him were deleted or banned. Anyone who spoke for him was deplatformed (not mentioned in the video, but some were even doxxed), 6. He is presented as a bad example for students in schools. He was put in textbooks for school as an example of bad behaviors, 7. He is experiencing online and offline “social death”. All community has delisted him. Even if he wants to open a gym membership, he cant. A supposed photo of his dog was not even allowed to be posted online; 8. Before his case was accepted by Chaoyang Police, his case was rejected by a police station in a city the south. So he almost lost his right for getting judicial rights.

    • If you want to know the severity of this incident and its consequences to ZZH and his family, you can watch “Zhang Zhehan Cancellation: 8 unimaginable consequences” video in Justice for the People channel. For those who are lazy to watch the whole thing, let me give an example of some of the most ridiculous impact of this incident to him and his family. He cannot even used his name to shop online, his case is being used as a case of bad behaviors in school textbooks, anyone who spoke for him is deplatformed, even if he wants he cannot register to a gym using his own name.

So yes, he basically has lost his right as even a normal citizen and this is still ongoing until today. Not even Kris Wu who actually had committed a crime experienced such severity. So before any of you continue with the same old tirade of this shrine, that shrine etc, read all the clarifications and all the progress that have happened with this case, some made by very prominent people in China, before making a conclusion.

Dont take this post made by koala as the only absolute truth. In fact, dont take what I said here as an absolute truth. Read about this case, many have been translated to English. So any of us has no excuse to perpetuate the slanders and misinformation about him and this case.

  7. @4ever. I’m not loyal to ZZH, just a casual fan that saw he being attacked whenever I was on twitter. Even prior to his break out with Word of Honor, I saw people commented about how Word of Honor was no good because of him. I checked out Word of Honor mainly because of those comments to see if it was as bad as what people said. While I like certain aspect of WOH but I don’t love the series.
I did the same for Victoria Song Qian with her series Moonshine and Valentine. I also checked out Zhao LiYing, Yang Mi and a few others due to comment I read from people.
People can said what they want to say, it’s still up to me to judge it myself and I don’t make comment for something I don’t know or see it myself.

    • Erm…I think you misunderstood, I wasn’t saying about you. “why are ZZH fans still so loyal to ZZH” was one of those testing questions that suddenly popped up on douban.

      • Zhang Zhehan is loyal to his country. He dod not do anything bad to others. They slandered him.He is a very normal person. So honest and natural. No pretentions. So we are forever for Zhang Zhehan.. 😍

  8. You would think in a country that harvest organs from prisoners, people would toe the line or make it less obvious the shady things they do to take someone out. Probably some high ranking official with too many fingers in too many corporate capital pies going on a power trip.

  9. Be Kind! Be neutral – no one saw Zhang Zhehan visiting the Japanese shrines.

In America, kids are taught history so that we can learn what had happened. Visiting a historical place doesn’t equate to honoring the criminals. In US, Alcatraz is an island used to lock up criminals and now is a tourist place. Many people visit there. I did too. That doesn’t make us honoring criminals.

Only kindness can help us to become better humans. Be kind!
