  • it's a triumph for sure, but let's not forget that she's a minority who's white passing. many layers of racial undertones to unpack.

• Surprise at Ouyang Nana in second spot. I like all other stars in this list. I think Wu Lei is having lots of endorsements too. Gong Jun picture is so beautiful. I hope his drama with Dilraba will air very soon... nothing to watch after Wu Lei dramas have finished. :-(

• Hi Koala. May I know which source you got this information from? 寻艺品牌星 says Dilraba has 24 endorsements, Ouyang Nana 18, Yang Mi 23, Guan Xiaotong 16, Bai Lu 2, Yang Zi 7, Wang Yibo 29, Xiao Zhan 33, and Gong Jun 24.

    • Perhaps they got outdated figures? Wang Yibo for sure no longer has 40 endorsements now, many of them didn't renew their contracts with him. Only Yang Mi's figures matched at 23 endorsements, and I'm surprised at the disparity for Bai Lu, 17 and 2 is way too large a gap.

  • 2 for bai lu does not sound right though. her star has risen exponentially in the last year and a half.

• I read earlier similar news this year on twitter c-news account that Dilireba and Wang Yibo have the highest number of endorsements for female and male celebs respectively so I don't think Koala's source was wrong

  • sorry to say this but koala's source is wrong. Xiao Zhan has the highest number of
    endorsements now in china. it's 34 as of the time of writing and he still has additional
    endorsements that has not been officially announced, so for sure before the year ends
    he will end up with a higher number than 34.

  • I think if she's talking about 2021 then it would be right. But 2022 have shuffled a lot. Highest endorsement 34 is Xiao Zhan, Yang Yang 30, Wang Yibo 29. This is the latest one. For female Dilireba is still the highest with 31 endorsements as of date.

• @mskoala, FYI: Xiao Zhan is the Chinese celebrity who has the highest number of
  endorsements this year 2022 up to the time of writing (33 endorsements),and before
  the year ends, he will end up with more, since he still got brand endorsements that are
  not officially announced yet.

• Xiao Zhan has the highest at 34 right now as we speak, and all of them with highest titles possible.
