jTBC wisely re-aired episode 14 of Reborn Rich on Friday so that it could show the final two episodes together over the weekend when there are likely more viewers. Saturday’s episode 15 got 25.032% ratings a new high and this Sunday will be the finale and the record to beat is The World of the Married with over 28% as the high bar. Ultimately it doesn’t matter if it does or not, this drama is now the second highest cable drama of all time and also cemented its own lore, the second chance revenge made all the more exciting by watching the machinations of South Korea’s chaebol family politics. Episode 15 was all about Do Joon putting the final nail (so it seems) in his Soonyang takeover coffin, taking down Big Uncle, Second Uncle, and douchey cousin Sung Joon one after another. There is an annoying detour to woo Min Young back and then a visit to pay homage to Grandpa in his Soonyang museum, all leading to what might be a massive deus ex machina that ties Do Joon with Hyun Woo in a super wild twist.
