I’ve been seeing tons of Louis Vuitton CF pictures from various Asian countries of its brand models this week all wearing clothes and carrying accessories from the 2023 Louis Vuitton collaboration with artist Yayoi Kusama. TBH I hated their first collab in the 2012 collection, LV collabs are full hit and miss for me and that one was a miss. I also hated Stephen Sprouse and Jeff Koons but loved loved loved the Murakami collab where I still have a few in my treasured collection. With that said, I kinda like this second go around with Yayoi Kusama, the collection is is split into painted dots, infinity dots, metal dots, and psychedelic flowers. Painted Dots is the crux of the collection items and is cute but reminds me of The Polka Dot man from The Suicide Squad lol, while the other three have fewer items but are all striking. Anyhoo, it’s a fun big collab in the fashion world so no wonder lots of celebs in CFs and also attending store events, case in point this week Jung Hae In arrived in Taiwan for the unveiling of the store design at the Taipei flagship store in the Taipei 101 building. He was serving full LV from airport arrival to the event itself, he looks really dapper and a great visual for the brand in Asia.
https://m.douyin.com/share/video/7177636755691081020 Dylan Wang wore the same ugly suit as Jung Hae In to Weibo Night in December 2022 and he looked better than Hae In but that outfit sucks. If it wasnt LV but Esprit or a midtier brand people would say the fabric/scissor emblems are ugly. The Yayoi Kusama collab is also nothing special, maybe it was cute in 2012 but it’s just polka dots and nothing special no matter how the artist tries to sound visionary.
Except the zoom-in picture one where he looked okayish, the remaining one he looks ugly,.. waaah… especially the first picture. ckckckck.
Does he borrowed that suit from Dylan Wang??? Hahahahahaha
Wow Jasper Liu looks nice and tall too
Jasper Liu’s look is my to my personal taste.
Silly outfit. Sorry that he has to wear it…but still he smiles!
