A bunch of finished filming in early 2022 C-dramas rounded the corner into 2023 and still haven’t aired yet so I’m not too hopeful to see the C-drama adaptation of Lost You Forever airing anytime soon since it finished filming late last year. So getting periodic treats is good enough and for Valentine’s Day this week the production released four sets of new posters with Yang Zi and each of her male leads. It’s really a three horse race of Cang Xuan (Zhuan Xu), Jing, and Xiang Liu but the drama likes to through in Feng Long too lol. As someone who read this novel countless times I immediately recognized the part of the book each of these scenes appear in and it just makes me smile to really know a long await live action drama really is coming.

I am both anticipating and dreading this drama, loving the original novel makes me scared that the adaptation will fall short but also excited to see Xiao Yao’s world come to live!!
I’m a fan of this Chinese actress Yang Zi and because of her I discovered this novel of Tong Hua which is my most favorite now. I have high hopes for her to carry the drama since she’s recognized by her acting skills and I love Xiao Liu/Xiao Yao so much, this kind of heroine is worth praising because of the character design. Seeing all the male leads share different chemistry with the heroine is worth waiting for. I hope they’ll release it on summer.
I like the novel but when i see Yang zi, the female character on my mind wasnt as ‘cute’ as her. The same goes to the golden hairpin. Im neither hater nor fan tho.
But will still give this drama a try bcuz of the novel. Please be good. At least let me finish the whole episodes without fast forwarding many scenes.
