Feel Good Soccer K-movie Dream with Park Seo Joon and IU Tops the South Korea Box Office in First Weekend of Premiere

Well this is certainly good news for the production company especially since this movie was filmed over three years ago and seemed to languish in post-production leaving one to wonder as to the end product. This past weekend Dream premiered and took the box office top spot in a win for a domestic South Korean movie as there have been very few domestic movies to reign this year in 2023 so far. The Point Men won one weekend then it’s been a lot of J-anime movies plus your garden variety Hollywood blockbuster. I’m thrilled for Park Seo Joon and IU and happy that Director Lee of Extreme Jobs continues to produce winning films.

  2. Congratulations to Park Seo Joon, and all involved. He is a terrific actor who brings something special to every role he plays. I hope this film will be shown on Viki or Netflix soon. 🫶🫰
