Youku May Release Go Princess Go 2 with Chen Zhe Yuan and Wu Xuan Yi for End of July 2023 Summer slot
The unexpected success of the super low budget Go Princess Go C-drama leaves the title quite recognizable so have a drama call itself Go Princess Go 2 in English is a smart movie. The xianxia and romance C-drama is adapted from the second novel in the Go Princess Go series by the same writer but the drama Chinese title has been changed to Groom is Not Pleased (郎君不如意) and also referred to as The Princess and the Werewolf and so far it’s all over the place with the titles lol. What is known is that leads Chen Zhe Yuan and Wu Xuan Yi are throwing adorable darts everyone in stills and at one point he turns into a weird werewolf/vampire looking hybrid. I have no idea what this potential hot mess is but count me in for checking it out if it does air later this month on sheer WTF curiosity alone.
