A Journey to Love with Liu Shi Shi and Liu Yu Ning Reportedly to Air on iQiyi After Story of Kunning Palace — 18 Comments

  1. Couldn’t get enough of LYN in our song so the leads are just perfect to me. Let’s see if the drama / leads will deliver. It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited for a drama to come out.

    • You can’t get enough of him as a singer so you are into him being a male lead actor?

What a fantastic demonstration on why cent dramas suck.

      • Why so sour? You can watch anything you want. There are a lot of singers who are also actors. If cdrama sucks, watch something. LOL

Anyhow, as for LYN, I saw him briefly in the long ballad and thought he was good. Then I realized he’s from the singing show. Haha didn’t finish that drama though.

      • Because he takes roles from people with actual skill. And his attitude is terrible.

As I said, this is exactly why cdramas suck.

      • Well most of chinese stars can’t act… so as visual animal if they at least have presentable face…

I wonder tho if it’s that hard for them to learn to act well

      • @Lmao, Whose roles did LYN take away from? What skills are you talking about? What a ridiculous thing to say. He neither has the power nor the back-up sponsor to take any roles from anyone. And exactly what kind of terrible attitude he has? Towards who?

  2. I love watching Liu Shishi in fight scenes. She is just so graceful and elegant. Her gracefulness is in her bones. ..

I personally find in China, there are lots of pretty actresses…but it is so hard to find a truly graceful and elegant actress about the newbies…

  3. LSS is elegant and graceful. Love her haute couture show for Tod’s with Xiao Zhan.

Well, the trailers of C costume dramas look intriguingly fancy but mostly are overstatements of the real drama quality. C production teams seem to be much better at short clips than fleshing out solid and watchable storylines for an entire series. LOL. I’ve been disappointed so long for so many times. I still remember LSS’ breakout hit time-travel drama with her husband. That one was one of the old C dramas I used to enjoy. Since then, C dramas have been repeating the same predictable tropes over and over again dragging plots without creativity in writing, directing, or key production elements like camera and lighting etc. but just lavishing on extravagant costumes and settings. Since I really like LSS, I will check this drama but with low expectation as usual. Lessons learned from Legend of Anle, Lost You Forever, My Journey to You, Story of Kunning Place, and MANY others.
