The K-ent Reporters Associations Votes Hwang Jung Min, Lee Dong Hwa, and Song Joong Ki Among Top Most Rude Stars in Movie Interview Circuit

Dang, the claws are out with the entertainment reports in South Korea haha. I don’t know if they just DGAF but this seems like a way to burn bridges with stars. The K-ent reports voted for this year’s rudest intervewee among the stars and number 1 goes to top movie actor Hwang Jung Min who has refused to do any interviews to promote any of his movies for the last 5 years. Not sure what pissed him off to start that but the reporters are sick and tired of his attitude. Next comes Lee Dong Hwi who earlier this year during his movie promos refused to answer any questions about his girlfriend Jung Ho Yeon and then proceeded to talk gossip about his other costars. Then it’s Song Joong Ki who during this year’s movie promos snarkily asked a reporter if he was writing his own fictional story. Park Seo Joon also made the list for becoming increasingly full of himself during interviews. And also on the list is Lee Seon Kyun due to his drug and hanging out at club scandal make has the reporters seeing him as a hypocrite since during his interviews he always talks about how much he loves his wife and kids. I can’t believe he’s gone now.

  1. These reporters sound way more entitled than the celebrities. Subjects can say no to an interview, can pass on questions (clearly he doesn’t want to drag his personal life in work that will easily end up making headlines for buzz), and they are still not done with criticizing him, gosh.

  2. It sounds more like the journalists are not happy if the actors don’t comply with their every wish : make a heart, answering personal question, etc.

  3. Song Joong Ki has every right to be snarky. They wrote whole sale articles about his wife Katie having a out of wedlock child which she abandoned prior to meeting him and that shit went viral. It was complete nonsense. They went after his wife just because she is foreigner, speead rumors about his babies. I am amazed that he didn’t throw kitchen sink at them. I certainly would.

  4. Most of time their questions aren’t interesting or are always the same ? How it was working with the director, the co star, … IT WAS HORRIBLE !!! Was your role challenging ? No I JUST DID IT FOR MONEY !!! How much weight did you gain or lost for the role ? I GAINED A LOT OR I LOST A LOT AND IT WAS SUPER EASY !!!And questions about private life aren’t related to the promotion of a movie or a drama ! With that said, some actors play the game with humour ! It reminds me of movie “American sweethearts” with Julia Roberts , Billy crystal , John Cusak, Catherine Zeta jones .

  5. Sadly the reporters don’t seem to be able to see that the rude ones are not the stars but the reporters. Celebrities are human beings that the reporters exploit for a picture or some exclusive statement and they are not polite with how they try and get said picture or statement.

  6. You can still go clubs and all and still love your children and wife. You can be sarcastic if the question is stupid and gossipy and immature. Maybe the contract doesn’t have a clause on promoting the movies so he’s not contractually obliged. Full of himself? Why not? As long as he’s not rudely full of himself. And they are still famous as long as no worst gossip.

  7. Read the article and some of the reasons those entitlement reporters gave are so ridiculous. Those stars need u but u also need to make $, but here they are trying to ruin these actor’s image. For goodness sake SKorean actor has the most suicidal rate & its media has a big play in it.

  8. 😂

Damn they’re out there taking names. Guess they’re not gonna get an interview so might as well throw names in the fire lol. What a way to burn bridges. Or there was none to begin with lol.

Anyway not too surprised about anyone per se. I’d be shocked to see an Lee Seung-gi or a Yoo Seung-ho here.

  9. Good for the actors. They should treat reporters like public enemies they have become. Most reporters and media (including its owners) became modern assassins for hire. Or, if paid well, they jump to the rich and powerful people’s orders, like the good little lackeys, and turn the blind eye to their wrongdoings. What a disgrace, waste of a trade/profession the media has become.

  10. Who cares about what reporters think about actors? LOL. They asked unprofessional, frivolous, gossipy topics like all the tabloid paparazzi. In Taiwan, reporters are a least respected profession. There’re reasons for that. I’m seeing SK media in a similar fashion after LSK’s death.

  11. Even my young relative who doesn’t pay attention to K-ent knows the death of LSK. It’s in the ent headlines all over in the States that can’t be unseen. He asked me what’s the big deal for him to even take his own life. He mentioned a recent NBA star who got pulled out of the Adidas endorsement thanks to his antisemitism remarks. But suicide? That’s unfathomable for an average American. It’s even harder for a non-Korean American to understand what kinds of stress that LSK underwent was too big to bear with alive. It’s hard for me to explain to him how public opinions had been formulated through media and social media to tackle him down completely.

  12. First of all, they’re reporters..people who hound into the privacy of these actors/actresses for an article that probably not all truthful anyways. So bo one cares if their itty bitty feelings are hurt lol
Actors and actresses don’t owe them any sort of civility.
