So my last post on the casting for this C-drama ended up being confirmed so yay for a pairing that I am totally onboard with. Youku‘s new period C-drama Kill My Sins (Chinese title Palm of my Hand) will star Liu Shi Shi and Shawn Dou in a S+ budget large scale production. It’s a talent and age appropriate casting and there are only a handful of S+ dramas in production each other so it’s nice to see one head into filming so calmly. Apparently if dramas start filming and the production does NOT release a confirmation posting it means there is a billing fight behind the scenes with the leads that still has not been resolved. This is interesting to note so I thought to share with y’all. This drama is heading into filming with stuff all buttoned down and the two leads excited to work with each other in that professional non-diva way.
Age and experience appropriate… Liu Shishi is very busy these 2years… she must miss acting alot.
She had no dramas aired for 3 years prior to A Journey to Love. Missed her alot and glad she is back.

I like this, as I think both of them are more suitable for revenge than romance, a revenge romance is even better. Another drama to look forward to !

Super excited for this pairing and drama! I can’t wait to see all of their costumes photos. I also noted that 2nd lead Zheng Ye Cheng wanted to work with LSS upon seeing her Ruyi in “A Journey To Love” so pretty interesting that he really got to work with her.
Both actors are very likeable. If plot is interesting, I definitely will watch.

This should be an interesting pairing to watch. I like that Shawn Dou doesn’t look like a frail flower like a lot of male leads nowadays.
@Jia, funny enough reading about that point you made…I was watching 无限超越班 第二季. One of the young actor was very fair with lipstick on… Francis Ng asked why does he have lipstick on? He never understood the current culture of male artiste with super fair face with lipstick on… I did laugh, what the mainland like in their male liuliangs are different from what HK veterans are used to.
I definitely like Shawn Dou built and healthier look more compared to other young liuliangs…not including Xiao Zhan, he looks good fair or tan. My bias.😂
Great news. So happy LSS is back acting and I’m relieved she is cast with a good looking, age appropriate talented male lead and not some pale skinny pretty boy. Looking forward to the pictures and the trailer.
