Blast From the Past as Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Seok Reunite 11 Years Later with I Hear Your Voice Crew
Has it been 11 years already?!? Wow and also what an amazing walk down memory lane bringing back all the great feels from this drama. K-drama I Hear Your Voice was what catapulted screenwriter Park Hye Ryun to the big leagues, though she was already almost there with her prior drama before it Dream High. She has a very cohesive writing style and vision in each of her dramas with a predilection for childhood arcs. I Hear Your Voice was a commercial and critical success and put Lee Jong Seok on the map as an adult male lead and also cemented Lee Bo Young as a hitmaker in her drama picks. The two leads recently reunited with second male lead Yoon Sang Hyun, supporting actor Kim Kwang Kyu, and Writer Park and PD Jo Soo Won in a heartwarming hang out. I love seeing cast being genuine friends in real life after working together.
IHYV was one of the dramas turning me into a Kdrama fan. I still can recall the plot. It was so well written and directed.
No all dramas crew member all gets on…I am so happy to see this team after 11yrs still keeping in touch.
There was a period I enjoyed a continuous number of Lee Jong Seok’s dramas…I dont know when it stopped.
