Wu Jin Yan a Perfect Backdrop for Tiffany Lock Jewelry Brand Endorsement

Revenge C-drama The Double wrapped its run in June and remains to date my favorite C-drama so far of 2024, sadly Lost You Forever Part 2 was a giant disappointment. The Double made me like Wu Jin Yan for the first time and now I am happy to check out any future dramas of hers and if it’s good watch it through. Her look has also evolved from the extreme ballet gamine kinda alien like aura to a more refined and sophisticated visual. She’s also someone who absolutely needs some bangs to lessen the sharpness of her high hairline and big forehead, and if styled right she looks totally rocking as she does here in a new Tiffany jewelry CF campaign.

  2. I have always found women with small faces and strong features- big eyes, strong nose and full mouth- very attractive. There is an Indian actor called Aishwariya who is like that.
WJY absolutely deserves to enjoy her success.
A-li as Duke Su used to tease her will be one of my fav Cdrama characters brought to life by WJY. She made you believe in illogical stuff. That’s what good actors do!

    • @Jana, The first time I saw Aishwarya Rai, I was in my teens, I believe she is around my age…To be she was the most beautiful woman in the world. Till now she still look beautiful to me for our age.

But having said that, I have learn to appreciate other beauties.. So now..I dont have a type anymore. I just like who I like.

      • Now I’m thinking of the (unitentionally) creepiest filmi picturaisation ever – Kajra Re with Aish hitting on her F-i-L over her honewala husband 😀

      • I remember the MV… I dont understand the song..but she was just beautiful to watch and she dance so well… I think her husband fell in love with her then, I seem to recall reading that.

I have seen her interviews in person…gosh, she is so smart, sharp, witty and very well spoken.

    • Agreed. The Double was that good to make me toss away all the logical reasoning. LOL. I’d consider The Double kinda fantasy & suspension drama, totally up my alley.

  3. She looks totally beautiful. Her physique is also perfect for costume dramas. I don’t get why so many drama fans had to reiterate she’s not that pretty. If she weren’t, I bet 90% of the women in the world would be grieving about their own looks. LOL.

    • I remember that. I recall someone here saying how they’re glad she has self awareness and doesn’t select roles where she’s supposed to be a beauty. IIRC her role in The Double is supposed to be quite extraordinary looking. I personally think she’s beautiful and have an elegant air about her.

      • Very elegant. That’s the word. We have so little of that in this day and age. So fine boned and petite but regal and great presence onscreen. I read somewhere that in the novel Duke Su is supposed to be the extraordinary beauty. No wonder A-li kept complimenting his looks.

      • @Jana, funny enough, in the novel, the writer keeps reminding us about his good looks till it became a joke. She does that to her male leads in other novels too…

      • @Jana, Duke Su is supposed to be the extraordinary beauty! So, WXY fits the role of Duke Su perfectly. LOL.

    • @Somebody She’s not pretty, her face has no harmony and her head is big for her body frame. She couldn’t stand next to Western beautiful women. Yang Chao Yue and Ai Mi look better than her in The Double. Maybe you are biased because you liked her as Jiang Li. Or maybe beauty is just subjective, because there are folks who thinks Esther Yu is pretty, and Dilraba ugly. Lol.

  4. She still looks like an alien to me, but different strokes for different folks. She looked better in Story of Yanxi Palace. Those close-up shots in The Double did her no favors.
