As an observer who has no stake in this game, this has been going on for a while on this site… I feel like it started with Doe bringing her up in all those QoT/KSH related articles and comparing her to other actresses, insulting those other actresses, and constantly reharping on her supposed better chemistry with him. SYJ probably had some haters before but Doe just lit a spark with KSH fans. I feel bad for other SYJ fans like MummaBear, who doesn’t instigates but obviously will speak up to defend SYJ.
Honestly, her private life is her private life. What she did or didn’t do (as long as it’s not a crime) is nobody’s business. Not like any one of us is perfect. As the saying goes, he that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone.

Yup exactly. The whole issue with her scandal was that it broke out at a time when she was practically known for her IOTNBO character. So the impact of it was much bigger because viewers were linking her character to the actor either consciously or subconsciously. By changing to a more cutesy sweet image, they can try and remove that stigma from her image. I honestly think she should go for the Kim Seonho route and start off with more genre work. Because she already tried coming back with romance through Eve and chose a character again - similar to IOTNBO. That failed spectacularly as one would expect. Time will tell what what path she takes but cleaning up her image is the first step.
Oh and unlike her pathetic weasel fans, I will not be bringing in other actresses and their success compared to her. I will take the high road but its very tempting after their very recent trolling.

She is talented so it would have been smarter to test the waters with a supporting role, totally different character or take on a genre project like a crime thriller but she seemed determined to come back as a star with a similar haughty fashionplate character and it was a failure. The director of the film where she insisted on getting real smoke inside the car for a scene but then she said the opposite to the press, everything came out. I havent seen any video but I picture it well. She used to have that fake innocent image when she was doing Moorim but it probably had a bit more realism then since she was actually new. Doing that today is just hysterical but it is the only other image her agency could have chosen. The exact opposite of her previous one. Its interesting to actually see a celebrity creating an image in real time. Most of us know subconsciously that someone might not be showing their true face, but in her case we know it as a fact that she is slapping a new fake face (pun unintended) on. Do we have other examples of celebs who have done this? It’s a very unusual and funny situation.

But now it was all big eyes, giggling every few seconds, where to stand, finger hearts, cheek hearts, finger dimples, hand hearts, cutesy poses, giggle, constant bowing lol. Lee You Mi weas at the same photocall and didn't do the most like that and LYM is younger and an actual ingenue who just got her big break.
