Kim Yoo Jung Embodies the Epitome of Balmain Haute Couture at Paris Fashion Show
Talk about back-to-back fashion homeruns for my girl Kim Yoo Jung. She look fantastic at Incheon airport jetting to Paris for fashion week and then one upped herself actually attending the fashion show for Balmain. From the blunt bangs onward to her dramatic makeup and strong yet fun outfit, the whole look worked so well for me, especially since it’s a big departure from her usual sunny and fresh girl-next-door visuals. I even love the fashion show poker face and occasional closed lip smile, very model on point.
Good grief why did this not look like Kim yoo Jung at all? Is it her nose? Or the hair? Like she looked like some random super skinny Kpop idol.
It’s because she has that super “snatched” Handsome Squidward-ish look that western celebrities usually get after multiple procedures. Before anyone come for me, I’m not accusing her of getting procedures, it could be the makeup too. I’m just saying that’s the end result with this styling that they went with. It’s a fashion show tho, so her makeup artist was probably trying to make her look edgy with heavier makeup, resulting in this look. I also have a feeling she’ll have a similar type of look (full bangs + heavier makeup) in her upcoming drama Dear X.
Guess we’ll just have to wait for more recent pics to see if she had any work done or it’s just makeup lol

I also want to say: it doesn’t look like her. Good modeling? Maybe! But the style just looks so much more like other ordinary models than herself. I don’t think I’d like to see her this way when she’s back to drama sets.
She looks fantastic, though I couldn’t recognize her. Glad she got to showcase a different look and give a more chameleon feel.
She looks too fake lol. It’s either too much editing or too much plastic surgery. Either way it doesn’t look like KYJ at all.

That heavy make up is so unflattering on her. Some people are lucky where they really don’t need a lot of makeup to look pretty. She belongs to that group.
Here was article just a week ago about her airport departure. Some people have short memory.
Just compare photos from here and there, it’s make up, hairstyle and probably photoshop. I doubt she did plastic procedure for last few days (but not like it’s my business)
She did a very good job of modelling the brand here, it shows that she has a versatility to her looks.
She’s sophisticated, classy and versatile. Glad she made that move compared to her always safe look. I’m nothing against her make up it really soothes her, besides it reflects on the occasion she was attending.
