C-actress Dilraba Dilmurat Reportedly Leaving Longtime Agency Jay Walk Studios When Her Contract Expires Next Month June 2025
When a top star’s contract nears its expiration there is always industry and netizen chatter over next step(s). Top C-actress Dilraba Dilmurat has been with one agency Jay Walk Studios (嘉行传媒 Jiaxing Media) within one year of her debut in 2013 so she’s been very loyal staying with the agency. There has been a lot of speculation in the last year on what she will do when her contract expires in June of 2025 and now word on the street is that she will not be signing again with Jay Walk. This isn’t expected to be a dirty or non-contentious separation, rather a mix of both. The studio is expected to try and convince her to stay with some pressure but will not be burn the house down type shenanigans. If she does leave the most likely next move is fully forming her own agency on top of her already established actress office.
Well if she leaves, I hope she can get a reunion drama with her former agency mate Zhang Bin Bin. Modern or costume drama that’s not a xianxia or wuxia drama would be nice. I could even see them in another rom com if it’s like the couple chemistry in Love Is Sweet.
I’ve always thought they would still have another drama with a HE. But DLRB has become so big tbh I don’t think this is likely already. :/
