Han Hyo Joo Offered Female Lead Role in K-drama Your Ground Set in the World of Baseball
The baseball themed K-dramas have traditionally done well with the biggest critical and commercial hit in recent years being Hot Stove League of course. Fans have asked for a second season of HSL but that’s not happening. What is happening is a new baseball themed K-drama Your Ground that is in the news this week with an offer out to top actress Han Hyo Joo to be the female lead. It’s about the male lead a former top baseball player who quits after adversity but finds his way back to the baseball field after meeting the female lead who is a sports agent and lawyer. Directing is the PD of Undercover High School. If Han Hyo Joo accepts the K-netizens are all clamoring for Park Hyun Sik as the male lead in a reunion of the Happiness couple.
Mehhhhhh big time on PHS. I find his acting mediocre. Instead would LOVE to have a HHJ-LSG reunion. They had amazing chemistry and would love to see them together after almost 15 years.
