C-netizens Feel Bad for Actress Tian Xi Wei as Both Male Leads in Her Currently Airing Drama and Her Currently Filming Drama Have Romance Scandals the Same Month
Chalk this up to serious bad timing for C-actress Tian Xi Wei, and nothing else for her to do but continue to be the consummate professional she is. Her currently filming C-drama Genius Girlfriend just kicked off two weeks ago but right away male lead Hu Yi Tian fell into a romance scandal. He was snapped by paparazzi allegedly out on a date with a lady friend. That was one week ago and now this week Tian Xi Wei’s currently airing C-drama Moonlit Reunion has a romance scandal with male lead Xu Kai. A minor actress named Xu Li Sa alleged that she dated Xu Kai three years ago and then he cheated on her with his same agency actress Zhao Qing. Regardless of truth (all or some or none), this has put a damper on the promos the two leads were doing for MR and that’s a shame because the drama has thus far been getting good reviews. As for Tian Xi Wei, just keep on chugging along and hope for little to no collateral damage.
Tian Xi Wei is doing an amazing job in Moonlit Reunion. I didn’t really warm up to her in her past projects, because she somehow often came across as too much? Not sure how to word it. But she shows such a restrained yet powerful presence here which makes it hard to look away from her. I kinda wish she had taken on the role of the Female General instead, now that would have been a truly badass heroine.
I don’t care about cheating Xu Kai, his acting in here comes across as unmotivated half the time, but I hope she gets the recognition she deserves for her acting in this role.
Xu Kai’s acting at the very least is more decent than HYT. I wonder, how he got casted in the same drama as TXW. I dont care about him dating anyone at this time, but his past scandal badmouthing his co star, ught, shameless.
I do enjoy Moonlit Reunion. But Xu Kai’s scandal divert attention away from this drama.
I agree his comments insulting the very pretty & talented Shen Yue was awful. She has more talent in her pinky than he has in his whole body. The only reason he still has a career is superficial, his looks.
Single men can date. Nothing wrong with it. So why is this a scandal? This is the 21st century after all! Smh
