Sparks Ignite for Ahn Eun Jin and Jang Ki Yong in the Workplace in Rom-Com SBS K-drama Dynamite Kiss
It’s nearing the end of the year already and for K-dramas there are only a few left that will premiere in the next two months. I’m looking forward to SBS rom-com K-drama Dynamite Kiss (She Shouldn’t Have Kissed) with Ahn Eun Jin and Jang Ki Yong, a totally unexpected onscreen pairing but one that could work. She can act circles around him but goodness is he so easy on the eyes and actually quite charming to watch. She plays a hardworking young woman who lies that she’s a single mom to get a job at a baby goods company and then falls for her hot handsome boss. You’ve got the workplace hijinks, the little white lie misunderstanding, and the usual opposites attract set up. The drama premieres on November 12th in the Wed-Thurs time slot. While the posters and promos look very budget and boring, I hope the leads bring energy to this common rom-com trope.

Ahn Eunjin is an all time favorite of mine. I’m excited to watch anything she does.
The poster is a bit better than the previous ones. The first half batch was terrible.
Ahn Eun-jin has such wonderful rom-com energy! I’m sad to see Jang Ki-yong looking polished again. I like his scruffy look from ATypical Family more.

There is an old black and white movie with same concept. Where a woman has a doll and pretends she has a baby and falls for her boss and it was goofy then. How can one carry such a lie and not get caught in the real world today? How many episodes can this drama carry for this trope not to get lame and old hat? They look good for sure though 🙂
