Vanness Wu Joins Ady An and Chris Wu for Another Autumn’s Concerto Getogether
OMG Ady An I hate you! Wait, let me amend that, OMG Liang Mu Cheng I hate you! How can you still be sandwiched between those two gorgeous guys four years later? Why is there no justice in the world? For me at least, because I would be in a state somewhere between swooning and grabbing if I were her. A week after Director Chen Hui Ling led some of her cast and crew from her mega-hit award winning SETTV drama Autumn’s Concerto down to Yilan to visit her leading lady Ady An on the set of her new GTV drama with Mike He, she went back to Taipei and organized an even more jam-packed reunion dinner for AC. This time leading man Vanness Wu made it, and above is the picture of Vanness with Ady and second male lead Chris Wu. LOL, the two Wu boys – those two had tons of fun filming AC, too bad their characters had very few scenes together. A few notables were missing, namely Tiffany Hsu who played the second female lead doctor/fiancée to Vanness’ character (and one of the rare awesome second female leads ever to grace a drama screen) and Amanda Zhu who was the third female lead and nursed a crush on Chris’ character in the drama.
Eagle-eyed fans have asked where Xiao Le is, and the consensus is that Xiao Xiao Bin must be at home sleeping since it was a weeknight. LOL, not having Xiao Xiao Bin around in an AC reunion is like a sundae missing the cherry on top. It’s been awhile since Director Chen did an idol drama, not since Material Queen which was insanely gorgeously filmed, and I’m hoping she’s working on a project. Vanness has been her leading man in both AC and MQ, but she discovered Chris and cast him when he was just an unknown in AC so those two are also very close and I wouldn’t be surprised if he lands as the leading man in her next drama. Director Chen has quite the eye for genuine acting talent, she also discovered Jian Man Shu and cast her in the PTS drama The Year of the Rain. She’s also a phenomenal directing talent in getting the most out of her actors – Vanness, Ady, Lynn Xiong – all of them were weak to terrible actors before working with Director Chen and in those dramas everyone improved immensely. It’s rare to see a cast this close after filming a drama, which goes to show that something made with love and affection holds up well with time indeed. I think this is the only drama we have opposite opinions. I totally love ‘Autumn Concerto’; one of my favourite TW dramas, and I was super happy that Guang Xi ended up with Mu Cheng. Of course, that also stems from me being Vanness Wu’s fan since F4 days and him with his kid was super adorbs. Well, it’s more like I’m a sucker for that kind of dramas. Although, I honestly hated the last half of the drama when Guang Xi forced Mu Cheng to marry him. UGH, at that time, he was insufferable and I wanted Mu Cheng to be with Chris Wu. But, still, Vanness Wu and Ady An has great chemistry ♥
No! I’m an OTP shipper in AC. Of course Mu Cheng needs to be Guang Xi, that family with Xiao Le was meant to be. Those two simply needed to stop stringing along Tuo Ye and Yi Qian. I HATED how they broke those two wonderful people’s hearts.
I am here in Avondale , AZ. I have been watching a lot of Asian Dramas. I like Chris Wu and watched a couple of his dramas. Among all actresses, Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, for me, Ady An is one of the most beautiful even without make up. Soooo…naturally beautiful. I’m watching Autumn Concerto now…
Outside Korean drama, this is the one of the one of the BEST Asian drama I’ve seen and followed religiously!
Agreed. I had a hard time finding a good drama, especially a Taiwanese one for quite a while till I met AC! AC made me change my views on Taiwanese dramas, Vanness, his acting, and his hair. lol.
Anyway, I tried so many “good” Taiwanese dramas previously but nope, not till AC that I can safely say that I found a real good one. One that I can keep watching over and over again! And I am still in love with the OST! Everything was perfect in this drama. Visuals, script, directing, songs, heart, they’ve got it.
Aww!!! I envy Ady An. She must had accumulated a lot of good karmas to be in between both of my dream men. They all look good. It was nice to see 3 of them together. I don’t mind to see them 3 in a new drama again…

It’s a drama that relies on its actors and not actually the plot itself. It is the cast that attracts viewers to want to watch the drama. (:

Because kdramas may have idols but they are not called idol dramas as far as I know….
crap, i now have the urge to rewatch Autumn Concerto all over again…or at least watch all the youtube mvs.

I keep watching AC all over again. I really love both ady & vanness of course not to mention his my favorite among F4 members. We’re same birth date.love u vanness! I’m looking forward for your next project together. Watching u together relieve my stress from work. Please do more movies together though ren guang xi is already married now. Godbless

Watching this Taiwanese drama today, 04/29/2024. This is my childhood fave drama and watching this comforts me so much as I’ve come to my adulthood realizing that time really flies. hayy! to have those wonderful days again.
