I think Kim Eun Seok casted well in pairing up Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin as frenemies in Heirs/The Inheritors. They are both equally as tall and honestly their mano-a-mano staredowns wouldn’t work if they weren’t equally as imposing. Tan is quiet but I like that he acts out first whenever Young Do pushes the wrong Eun Sang related buttons around him. In the preview … Continue reading →
Oh. My. God. I confess to never thinking this could even be possible, and rather laughed that so many 4th Prince-Ruo Xi shippers in Bu Bu Jing Xin transferred their romance to the lead actors Nicky Wu (Wu Qi Long) and Liu Shi Shi. I may be a HongShi shipper but the LongShi fans always seemed a ship far off … Continue reading →
I’ve finally cottoned on to what is so utterly aggravating about Marry Him If You Dare (Mirae’s Choice). The writing is flawed but it’s not horrendous, with a veritable avalanche of shitty dramas lined up way ahead of it. The acting is solid but marred by frustrating characterizations. But ultimately what’s killing my love for it (and I did love it … Continue reading →
I think Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have better chemistry in BTS of Heirs/The Inheritors than in the drama proper. Sorry guys, but Tan and Eun Sang are just too dour when together for any chemistry to manifest itself. Tan can stare at Eun Sang all day long and grab her whenever he feels like it, but all … Continue reading →
I worry that the screenwriter has really laid her groundwork for the entire story of Marry Him If You Dare (Mirae’s Choice) but it won’t be until the very end that all the clues line up and all the issues get resolved. Along the way the viewers are frustrated and the characters get pulled through the ringer only to reach … Continue reading →
It’s been a slow and long week in GeumBum news, which is a positive sign the cute lovely babies are not being bothered heading into the third week of their European vacation. But for those wanting more happy news that they are still in love and enjoying their time off, it’s been a wait and see situation. I said that … Continue reading →
This episode of Marry Him If You Dare (Mirae’s Choice) was simultaneously better yet more frustrating. I’m back to loving Shin wholeheartedly, he’s a man who isn’t just principled yet emotionally aware, he’s also reflective and capable of change. Mi Rae continues to waffle back and forth between Se Joo and Shin, but this was the episode that showed me … Continue reading →
In a billion million gazillion years I never would have hoped or imagined for this, but this is honest to god happening. Taiwan’s Hana Yori Dango version of Domyouji Tsukasa (called Dao Ming Shi) played by Jerry Yan will be filming a Japanese movie with the Hanazawa Rui of the Japanese version of HanaDan which is of course played by … Continue reading →
Oooooh, awkward dinner straight ahead, brake now if you want to avoid another potential mano-a-mano staredown between Shin and Se Joo. Marry Him If You Dare got some traction this weekend after two lackluster episodes last week primarily due to the spoiler stills showing leading lady Mi Rae getting a new makeover. She sports a chic shoulder blunt cut and … Continue reading →
I can say one thing about Heirs/The Inheritors, which is that it hasn’t gotten worse which is a problem that plagues most dramas as the live-shoot catches up and the writer can’t find a way to end what was a promising story. So far Heirs rather putters around in its own mediocrity still, but a few elements have livened up … Continue reading →
Take a good look at curly-haired Mi Rae in the latest BTS photos above from Marry Him If You Dare. This might be one of the last times to see this hotly debated hairstyle. Ladies and gents, this past weekend excited fans in Hongdae spotted Yoon Eun Hye and Lee Dong Gun filming a date scene on the streets of … Continue reading →
Whenever a well-received K-drama wraps, I always anticipate the interviews and news reports with the main cast members, especially if I loved the drama or the leads. Lee Jun Ki wrapped Two Weeks almost a month ago, and he was both the heart and soul of the drama as well as a member of an ensemble piece. It’s hard to … Continue reading →
There is actually a very intriguing spoiler about the upcoming episode of Heirs/The Inheritors that got me excited all of a sudden. I always wanted to give Kim Eun Seok the benefit of the doubt that she mapped out her entire story far in advance and knew what she was doing. She wasn’t biting off more than she can chew, … Continue reading →
