Well this is either the biggest melon ever or a whole lotta wishful thinking. Yesterday a rumor started in the casting circles that Bai Lu and Yang Yang would be pairing up for a high profile C-drama called Northern based on a same name novel set in the Republic era which is after the end of the Qing dynasty and before the revolutionary days. The rumor came from the usual casting gossip threads but was seemingly quashed when Yang Yang’s fan club strenuously denied it. But then after a few hours that post disappeared. So I’m thinking this melon has a decent chance of being true so let’s wait and see.
