You’ll hear no complaints from me on the finalized casting of the upcoming Hong sisters drama. The two confirmed leads Yoo Yeon Seok and Kang Sora are both primed for their first major drama leading role, not to mention there is some snerky karma at work that they get paired together after their last second lead roles caused discomfiting ripples in the drama watching experience for fans of those dramas OTP pairings. Now they get the happy endings and their fans can stop being a broken record over past dissatisfaction.

Rounding out the main cast will be two relatively newer faces to the drama scene, at least newer in that there are still a lot of viewers who may not have seen their prior supporting roles. Jinyoung of idol group B1A4 just confirmed his casting in this drama, playing a server at the restaurant in Jeju run by Yoo Yeon Seok’s chef character. Jinyoung apparently auditioned for this role and the Hong sisters were impressed enough to hand him the part. I’m not surprised, he’s a natural at acting and has this indelible onscreen charisma.
