Seo In Guk and Jang Dong Yoon to Headline Sci-fi K-movie Wolf Hunt

The charismatic hotties for the price of one movie ticket, oh heck yeah! Seo In Guk and Jang Dong Yoon are confirmed to star in action sci-fi thriller movie Wolf Hunt, set on a giant ocean freighter that is transporting prisoners overseas. Both actors will be playing prisoners on the ship and the movie is from the director of hit film The Con Artists which had Kim Woo Bin and Lee Hyun Woo. The movie will also include Sung Dong Il, Choi Gwi Hwa, and Jang Young Nam who have all worked with the director before. This will be Jang Dong Yoon’s first K-movie so he’s clearly moving up to the big leagues and Seo In Guk also hasn’t had a big K-movie under his belt yet so great opportunity for these two to elevate their craft and exposure.

    • Yes, the recent historical drama for Kim Jung Hyun was Mr Queen, for Jang Dong Yoon is the upcoming Joseon Exorcist, while Jo Byung Gyu will acts in a historical romance with Jung So Min.

Anyway based on Korean age, Kim Jung Hyun is 32 years old (1990), Jang Dong Yoon is 30 years old (1992) while Jo Byung Gyu is 26 years old (1996).

    • No sure about Jo Gyung Gyu because of his bullying allegations. It’s also possible that he’s innocent. Still the way his agency and himself handling things is a mess now.

  2. So stoked for Seo In Guk. He is totally moving in the right direction in his acting career to towards chungmuro land. So proud of my precious. Lol. I can see 2021 is going to be his great comeback after 4 years in the wilderness. Correction for Koala. InGuk already had one big K-movie filmed but not released yet. It is Pipeline which was directed by A-list director Yoo Ha who has acclaimed movies like Gangnam Blues and A Frozen Flower under his belt.

  3. As a long time fan of Seo In Guk this is a welcome surprise. First sci fi film for him. It also signals more directors are noticing his innate talent and giving him a chance to shine. I’m glad Seo isn’t afraid to move out of his comfort zone from k drama rom coms. His acting choices are always very different and refreshing.
