I don’t know why it took over a month for So Ji Sub to release the full 14-minute MV for his first single off the latest album which so famously features Park Shin Hye and Yoo Seung Ho (as well as himself). I watched the earlier edited 5-minute version and liked it a lot. It wasn’t memorable narratively or in presentation, but it starred two of my favorite young actors playing the OTP and that was more than enough. But when I finished I didn’t feel a dying need to watch the full version, though when I saw it released I happily toddled off to watch it. I think releasing it after Yoo Seung Ho has been shipped off to the army works well since it gives his fans a chance to see something new with him even though he’s out-of-commission for the next two years. The story behind this MV is a young and wild Yoo Seung Ho works as a bartender with his pretty girlfriend played by Park Shin Hye as the waitress. He is very protective and loving, and when she gets spotted by a modeling scout, he initially happily supports her burgeoning career. But soon her star path takes her away from him and he reluctantly lets her go. Over the years, as he’s studying for something or another, he keeps tabs on her and we see magazine and newspaper clippings of her plastered all over his wall. LOL, if this was Missing You, then I would say his character was an obsessive psycho. But since this is a romantic MV, he’s just portrayed as a very lovelorn sad puppy. Ten years pass and Yoo Seung Ho morphs into So Ji Sub, while Park Shin Hye……stays exactly the same. I want whatever fountain of youth she bathed in. They meet again when he is asked to work on her photoshoot, and that leads him to call her up after such a long time. She’s making coffee and when she hears his voice on her voicemail, she freezes and the scene cuts out. Is there a chance to get back together? It’s an open ending for us to decide. I vote for her to time travel back and get together with the younger Yoo Seung Ho version!

Yes, she can time travel back to get together with Yoo Seung Hoo. I will take care of So Ji Sub ^^UU
Finally! Just when I had almost given up, the full MV is out. Thanks for the recap.
Wish we could understand what SJS said to bring the subtle change of emotions on PSH's face as she was modelling. Even though no actual dialogues were exchanged between them, their eyes spoke......
The sense of loss and pain in her eyes was really something to behold when SJS stood in the end of the photo-shoot and did not acknowledge her as they looked at each other. YSH will be a force to be reckoned once he returns from the military service.
Overall I enjoyed the MV for the actors and even the music. Younha's voice is beautiful. SJS's rapping was not bad at all. The story behind the lyrics of eraser actually reminded me of Lee Seung Gi's song"delete". All the tracks were good
Btw, I have the feeling that in 10 years time, PSH will not have changed much.....one of the lucky ones who are born gifted.
Oh I forgot.....in the BTS she actually runs outside after hearing his call. So they did shoot as if they have a happy ending but maybe preferred to leave it to the viewers discretion when editing. I like to think that they did because they still seem to care for each other.
TIME TRAVEEEELLL.
How could they not hire Yoo Seung Ho as well?
The best thing about the video? YSH of course. He has such expressive eyes and lips. Mama Mia! SJS's not bad either. ;-)
Ever since the drama "Flower Boy Next Door", where she looks older than Yoon Shi Hoon, I can't help but notice that Park Shin Hye is looking more like an ahjumma. Even in this MV. For a girl who is turning 23 this year she looks old. Whoever her stylist/make-up artist/hairstylist should be reprimanded. A lot of actresses and actors who are older and some in their early 30's look better than her. She sure is not taking good care of her looks.
disagree. a lot.
Whoaaa.... yes with you there. She's very beautiful here but what makes her older is not her face but the pain portrayed in her eyes that depicts years of experience.
are you for real? LOL
She still look 13 at times. Girl might not has the perfect face but she has one of the best skin in the industry and that's y she has always been cosmetic model
edit for typos
She still looks 13 at times. The girl might not have the best face but she is known for her beauty in Korea and has one of the best skin in the industry, which is why she has always been a cosmetic model since 2009
Totally disagree! She is looking more beautiful with time. She is a lovely person inside too. But, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I guess that's one reason that makes life so interesting
You need some Eye Balm, man.
heeheehee
park shin hye mature to be princess she is beautiful and charming I disagree with your opinion she will be the Rose that will thorn all around her :D
i was thinking the same. she looks beautiful but older than she really is. i don't know if it's because of her make-up or so much hard working. i read she worked late at night while filming this... hope she takes care of herself
Disagree! Maybe you've only been watching her in few shows, videos or pics. A lot of those shows her even younger looking, more so in personal. Probably here she needs to mature cos of the time difference the videos must show.
Any body wanna translate to us only Englishers and let us know what SJS says on the answering machine?
I know it starts:
It's me. What are you doing? Are you busy?
After that, I think he says something about waiting and for her to call, but I've only started to learn recently, so I didn't really catch it.
He says: Hey it's me. What're you doing? Busy? Have you eaten? I'll wait for your call, so when you hear this, call me. I'm outside your house.
Like the MTV so much, I do hope they do drama together soon, surely Filipinos will watch it! Thanks for bringing this to us!
Park Shin Hye is gorgeous! So beautiful ,especially in that pic on that third row. She looks her age - 23. Fresh, young and utterly adorable. She looks fine with all her leading men.
Huhuhuhuhu miss our little bro..
