Marry Him If You Dare Releases First Kiss Stills for Yoon Eun Hye and Lee Dong Gun

I typically toggle my posts so I’m not posting about one drama or topic consecutively. That pattern is getting tossed aside right now because holy drama llama my OTP in Marry Him If You Dare is kissing soon! Kyaaaaaa, I would expire of happiness but for the fact that the first kiss between Kim Shin and Yoon Eun Hye looks to be an original time line event so it’s akin to a fantasy sequence if you ask me. I call future Mi Rae’s life and love story with Shin the original time line because that is what was supposed to happen. What we are seeing is the alternate time time. But that doesn’t mean the original time line is right or better, and future Mi Rae gets a chance to show me that whatever she is trying to do is the better option for everyone. For example, if Se Joo and Yoo Kyung ended up having a bad marriage, then I might be less peeved that future Mi Rae essentially cockblocked their first meeting in Jeju. I thought the first kiss scene between Lee Dong Gun and Yoon Eun Hye was very chaste and dreamy, with the hazy lighting and the lip press type of peck. It’s a supreme waste of the kissing talents of those two, but actually comes across as integral to the narrative. In the original time line, Shin and Mi Rae was supposed to have met when he rear ended her car and she ended up in the hospital. They never once crossed words, and he likely fell in love with her when going to visit her, hence their fiery temperaments likely never got revealed. Hahaha, what if future Mi Rae is pissed cuz she fell for nice gentleman Shin and ended up married to bad tempered Shin? In addition to these stills of the leads kissing, below KBS also released stills last week of Shin going to visit Yoo Kyung in the hospital bearing flowers when she ends up being the one he rear ended. It’s telling that in the original time line, Shin and Mi Rae fell in love, but in the current time line there is no indication Shin or Yoo Kyung are falling in love. She might be interested in him because he’s gorgeous and an accomplished news anchor, but he has shown zero interest in her romantically. Either way, Shin and Yoo Kyung were nowhere close to kissing in the hospital room despite the same accident meeting, so I’m dying of curiosity to find out how and why Shin and Mi Rae fell in love after the accident. What did he see in this frizzy haired call center employee with energy but no concrete dreams? What did she see in a cantankerous news anchor with low social EQ and a penchant for cursing. I can’t wait to find out when episode 3 airs tonight.
