Yeon Jung Hoon Expecting First Child with Six Months Pregnant Wife Han Ga In

This is wonderful news, and even more heartwarming for this particular star couple after what they’ve been through. Korean acting married couple Yeon Jung Hoon and his wife Han Ga In are expecting their first child together, with Han Ga In currently six months pregnant and the baby due in late winter 2016. The couple have been married ten years and last year was about to have their first baby when Han Ga In miscarried a few months into the pregnancy.

She’s been out of the limelight for a few years now, one wonders if it was to plan and prepare for having a baby, while he’s been working steadily and doing a solid job playing second male leads in prime time dramas as well as leads in quirkier cable shows. I’m so happy for the couple that they’ve made it past the typical danger period for miscarriages and is currently in the stable stage to share this news with their fans. Congrats to the sure to be thrilled parents-to-be!

Lately star couples make the news more for shotgun weddings or at least having a baby soon after getting married, so it’s all the rarer for a high profile couple like Yeon Jung Hoon and Han Ga In to get married so young and then wait such a long time before growing their family. Of course it could be due to circumstances beyond their control, but with how popular celebrity kids are these days on variety shows I’m sure K-ent is always on the lookout for the next star child and there’s a pretty good chance Yeon Jung Hoon and Han Ga In will have a beyond beautiful baby together.

  • Wow congrats to them! they are pretty couple. While i only watched her in MTETS (and didn't like her there)and the architecture 101 movie, i like YJH very much as actor and hope he gets sometime a lead in prime time drama.

I recently rewatched Mask and he literally stole the scenes there. he deserves a lead role. also i heard good reviews about his vampire prosecutor series. anyway, good luck to them and hope the baby will be healthy.

  • Awww! So happy for these two! They're such a lovely couple! Even though I'm not a big fan of Han Ga in, I find Yeon Jung Woo so swoon worthy. He's just got such a sexy aura about him and like the above comment, he definitely stole the show in Mask!

  • Koala... is this HGI's 2nd pregnancy? becoz as I remembered she was miscarriage few months ago (same year in 2015).
anyway, so glad they finally expecting and they'll be great parent

  • if she is 6 months pregnant, she is gonna deliver in 3-4 months, not late winter which sounds many months overdue. ???

  • Good for them! She seems very sweet and they look happy. She's a terrible actress though. I wonder if Vampire prosecutor will get another season?
