Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung Leap and Dance for Joy in New Promos for Moonlight Drawn by Clouds

The first teaser for KBS Mon-Tues sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds is interesting to say the least. Park Bo Gum is adorable but the tone is totally off-kilter even if this is a youth romance leading sageuk. But it’s harmless enough and does a great job of capitalizing on Park Bo Gum’s appeal, the boyish energy paired with acting charisma. The drama also released it’s first poster this week, a pose taken directly from the manhwa illustration but one upping the drawing of the OTP with two gorgeous flesh and blood cuties in Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. I dig these two regardless of the age gap, so long as the romance is of the pining chaste variety it’s not going to get my squick meter ticking and ultimately sageuks deliver a deeper connection type of satisfaction and one that the leads have proven they can bring it in previous roles.
