It’s good that Suspicious Partner is a longer 20-episode prime time drama, or 40 episode now that the network has decided to call thirty minutes an episode to add in more commercial time. That means SP won’t end until the middle of July but then again we’re already in the back end of June and casting is finally completed for the followup drama Reunited Worlds. This is going to be a major filming crunch for the next four weeks so hopefully SBS and the production team is ready to dive in. The drama stars Yeo Jin Gu and Lee Yeon Hee as lovers who grew up together but somehow he remains 18 while she ages onwards to 31 years old. This week added Ahn Jae Hyun to the cast as the second male lead, a position I’m fine with because I liked him in You From Another Star in a supporting role. The drama will be directed and written by the director and screenwriter of Beautiful Gong Shim and The Girl Who Sees Smells. 

Former I.O.I. and now DIA member Jung Chae Yeon takes a second dip in the acting pool following Drinking Solo, and in this drama will play the younger version of Lee Yeon Hee’s character. Kwak Dong Yeon has also joined this drama and will be playing the younger brother of Yeo Jin Gu’s character.
