Fashion has different parameters on the musical stage much like makeup for stage performances is so much thicker and dramatic to show under the bright lights. Rainie Yang held her two-night Youth Lies Within tour in Taipei this weekend and put on quite a show for concert-goers. The concert movies to Hong Kong in February and hopefully she’ll continue to dazzle and innovate on the stage with her attire. She went with pastels and bold primary colors in equal measure, a lovely lilac ruffled gown morphed into a hot pink over-sized menswear suit accessorized with giant earrings. I’m sad to miss a chance to see her onstage live but so happy that she’s continuing to do so well in her music career in this her 17th year in the industry.
