I don’t know if it was out of sight out of mind but I legit forgot totally there was even Jung Yong Hwa and that he was in the military for the last two years and would be scheduled for discharge this year in 2019. But here we are and this weekend CNBLUE‘s lead singer Jung Yong Hwa finished his military service and was discharged with what looks like hundreds of fans in attendance to welcome his return. He’s coming back to a different K-ent world though, one roiled by scandal this year with prostitution, gambling, viewing illegally recorded sex videos, suicides, and also tons of new idol groups that have debuted since his enlistment in 2017. Not to mention his own group had a member Lee Jong Hyun personally involved with one of the scandals and quit the band. So he’s returning to a different CNBLUE but with so many fans still I’m sure he’ll ease back into promotions and find himself a niche.
