Son Ye Jin Gets Treatment at Hospital for Exhaustion Filming Crash Landing on You
Even though Crash Landing on You started filming last year in August 2019, it’s nowhere near banking enough footage and is basically on live shoot schedule now. August was taken up by a location shoot in Switzerland and this is a large scale drama with a lot of characters so it’s not fast point and shoot in a studio. Despite have two separate pre-emptions which bought it another 2 weeks of time, the cast and crew are reportedly working long hours to keep up. Female lead Son Ye Jin was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for treatment for exhaustion, she was discharged and is back on the set now. The production did give the cast and crew the Christmas and New Year holidays off but alas producing a great product takes a lot of work so my support goes out to everyone making Crash happen.

They filmed in Switzerland and in Mongolia. They had postponed episodes because of the cold weather to film in good conditions. But it’s exhausting to film a Kdrama but in Winter, it must be really hard to do. I always notice the red ear of male actors and I pity them.
Why can’t the Korean production team complete the filming before the airing? It always risky to rush than a better planning.
Revenue issue. Pre-production needs security of all funds needed which most dramas cannot ger until after airing with CF incomes.

If ratings go up they might even extend it to 20 episodes. N both actors salary must be upward of 100kusd per episode. So its not like they are not making bank. But health comes first so i hope she takes care. But both look very happy with success of drama. Hyun bin n son ye jin getting many cf love calls too. Strike the iron when it is hot. Son ye jin has been always an exclusive model compared to taehyeji when it comes to cfs. Good to see her finally signing some.

Son Ye Jin one of my favourite Korean actress. I got so excited every episodes of Crash Landing On You. I can’t wait for the next one in Netflix. Hyun Bin & Son Yen Ji look good together. More projects for them together please! They are both great actors!!
