One reason Korean variety shows set in a more rustic back to nature setting such as Three Meals a Day series or the current House on Wheels is that it gives people living their daily drudgery a taste and dream of going back to simpler days. That seems even more alluring during the year of COVID so far, when many places are still limiting travel, dining, entertainment, and all the normal things that people could do to take a break. Seeing this new stills of K-actor Gong Yoo this week as he films a CF campaign out in the South Korean rural traditional home sends me sighing for wanting that even more than my usual Gong Yoo fangirling. He’s still handsome and personable but I can do with a week in the solitude where I need to hang clothes out to dry and can lay around staring at the blue sky. Sigh.
I would marry this man
But he wouldn’t marry you…?
In my elaborate and perfect fantasies he sure does!!! I’m in a relationship so it’s between my imagination & I 😉
Amazing actor! He is my favourite Korean Actor
He is my dream oppa.
He is inspire to look more fit in physically and mentally if i can execersice 3 hours daily like he does.
Well, not sure this type of photoshoot will occur anytime soon or will encourage Koreans to travel domestically in a near future. As reported for instance in the Korea Times, the South Korean government on Saturday advised people in the greater Seoul area to refrain from traveling to other areas for the next two weeks in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, effective this Sunday.
I love Gong Yoo so much
