MBC to Reassemble Epic Cast of 2007 K-drama Coffee Prince for Remembrance Documentary to Air in September 2020 — 14 Comments

  1. Been so excited since I heard the news. I really hope that they reunite.

Coincidentally, I’ve been rewatching Coffee Prince since a couple days ago so this was a nice surprise. One of the few dramas I rewatch every year.

  2. One of the ” classics” that i can still rewatch from time to time . I’am happy to see that Kim Dong Wook and Kim Jae Wook are finally getting 1st roles . The only one mystery case is ” Yoon Eun Hye” , i know that people are going to talk about the scandal from 5 years ago, but it can’t explain her disappearance . I miss her even more when i see one of the others in projects ! I saw her in House detox last week and she launched a youtube channel but i want a drama . I’m going to cry a river !

  3. This would be definitely epic. I can’t wait to see the main leads at the same screen again. And I really hope Yoon Eun Hye picks a good project as her next come back. The girl deserves the best.

  4. I was excited as well, but reading Soompi article with a quote from MBC makes me think it’s not gonna be an epic reunion. CP segment will most likely get a few minutes in a documentary on an otherwise diffetent topic. The cast will probably be interviewed separately.

  5. Oh my god!!!! I literally just finished writing a piece for Dramabeans about what drew me to that website and I wrote extensively about Coffee Prince so it seems like providence that I’m hearing this new here.

I loved this drama so much. And the actors in it went on to have good successes in other dramas. I really hope it’s a reunion and not individual interviews that they string together. The magic of this show was the entire cast’s chemistry. Still not over Lee Eon’s passing so I hope they acknowledge him in some way and it’ll be nice to see Eun Hye again.

Last drama I saw her in was that Fluttering Warning drama with my boy Chun Jung Myun and while I adore them both so much and their chemistry was great, that drama had some pretty atrocious pacing/writing.

    • Yeah, Coffee Prince is what brought me to Dramabeans too. Wonderful drama, awesome commentary by Javabeans…I love everything about this.

  6. Omg this is soooo amaaaaziiing im so excited to watch this. It’s been 14 years passed. I soo love this drama, so nostalgic and i remember my teenage days with my cousin being so addicted to cp. No matter how late it was, almost midnight. But that was not a problem. Now we are adults my cousin now is married and im still single just like my idol Ms.Yoon Eun Hye.lol.She is my top one favorite korean actress. My inspiration in life and in fashion.I look forward to watching this. ASAP!!!! ???

  7. YHE used to be at SHK levels with multiple hallyu hits under her belt. But the scandal she was involved in, ruined her career so much. Hope she comebacks with another mega hit project.

  8. Coffee Prince part 2 with the artists, i have watched so many time the CP part1

I always smile to them and release stress from pandemic we are now have in the world.

  9. This is where i started to love (though there were several kdramas to watch, its was Coffee Prince i loved and enjoyed the most! Its very awesome! Back in days, i used to watch with my mum..now i am watching with my daughters! I fell in love the first with Kim Jae Wook, and started to look for his movies,..

  10. i watched this drama several times and still i cant have enough of it.right now im watching The guardian for the 4th time as i really miss GY.hes my happy pill???

  11. Although this was such a huge hit and a classic, I have not watched it!! Still, I am excited for this! Especially to see Yoon Eun Hye back on screen!
