Awwwww, after that amazing guest starring turn as a mental patient in It’s Okay to be Okay, I was hoping for the warm and cuddly side of Kwak Dong Yeon for his next drama. But it’s going to be his crazy and dark side, which he pulls off very well because he’s just that good of an actor. Kwak Dong Yeon will be playing the drug lord wannabe rich young chaebol in upcoming K-drama Vincenzo, a role that initially was reported to be Taecyeon and later corrected to Taec playing a nice young lawyer at the same law firm as the leads Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin. Also joining the cast in supporting roles are Crash Landing on You breakout Yang Kyung Won along with veterans Jo Han Chul and Kim Yeo Jin. Production should be starting soon with so many confirmations this week, plus the drama is slated for a year end 2020 premiere.
Kwak Dong Yeon will be a great villain. He was really good in My Strange Hero as a villain.
Nowadays, his vibe reminds me of J-actor Takeru Satoh and I like it.
Taec should take this role. It would helpful for his career as an actor. But KDY is an amazing actor, good or bad, he can act well in every single character.

Taec cannot act, that’s why the Production Team has switched him out. When have you even seen Taec as a Villian? No one will bet his money on Taec being a villian, this guy has not learnt about acting yet.
@Yui – I think Taec has been replaced. TBH he is not a good actor, he is barely ok. His range is very narrow and he cannot emote. KDY is a much much better actor. With the diminishing ratings of K-dramas lately, acting skill is important to draw ratings. Taec just won’t be able to… not anymore at his age and status, no longer an idol, and he is out of shape.
