Boatload of New Stills for River Where the Moon Rises Premiering This Monday February 15th
Okay, hit me where it hurts good, in that K-drama sweet zone of angst and romance and the greater good. KBS sageuk River Where the Moon Rises drops this Monday February 15th and the production released tons of new stills in the few days prior to really ramp up the excitement. We see younger character scenes, danger lurking in every corner, and cuteness between leads Kim So Hyun and Ji Soo. I can’t ask for more and after the disappointment of Queen Cheorin this may be the perfect balm to re-set the sageuk itch in me.

Just watched episode 1, and holy hell it was damn good! Kim So Hyun was stunning in the queen attire, can’t take my eyes off her whenever she’s on screen! And her action scenes were fire! ???
What happened to Queen Yeon was really sad tho, and I wanted more scenes with her and Kang Ha Neul’s character On Hyeop. The child actors were great, but I’m so glad the childhood portion didn’t get stretched out too much because I’m so excited for more Kim So Hyun action scenes and of course the meet cute with Jisoo.
Really loving it so far!
Hey, no spoilers! Not everyone has watched it yet! And this post isn’t even a review for EP1. Chill!
Oh sh*t! Sorry about that! I was so excited about it that I forgot! If I could edit my comment and add Spoiler alert, I would ???
Lol, I understand. We’re all excited about our girl.
Best lower your expectations, Ms. K. Just in case. But damn, those stills look good!
First episode is so good. Made me wish I didn’t watch right away because I like watching when there are several episodes already available.
KSH portrayal of the Queen is amazing. She fits this kind of role.
Now I understood why the role was first offered to SYJ.
If there would be a prequel spinoff about the Queen, I’d like to imagine SYJ and KHN together as the ill-fated lovers.
