The career trajectory of K-actress Moon Geun Young hasn’t gone into hibernation like Won Bin or slow slide into being forgotten like Yoon Eun Hye, but she’s definitely someone I didn’t think would be working this infrequently in dramas and movies. I thought she would do at least 1 a year but now it’s more like 1 every three years. Her last project was the drama Catch the Ghost in 2019 with Kim Sun Ho who has then hit major breakout thanks to Start-Up and variety show 1N2D. Since then she’s infrequently updated her SNS to share some of her personal activities like travel, surfing, hiking, all very outdoorsy and healthy. I’m glad she’s on a personal wellness journey and this week on June 8th she shared a post holding a nutrition health drink her friend gave her to keep her healthy. She looks super fit and glowing so I want some of that lol.

She might do comeback later in drama ^^ my guess is kbs saeguk drama next year with jang hyuk. She fits to be queen role

I don’t see it happening at all if @Leaflets is referring to the Lee Joon and Jang Hyuk drama. In what world will Moon Geun Young play second fiddle to both of them? No matter how far she’s fallen she’s still a Baeksang Best TV Actress. She won’t take a role that has no weight.

I like both so much and i miss them . I can understand MGY as she was ill and enjoying life after working since her child days it’s understable . YEH’s case still one of the most unfair in K ent industry in my own opinion ( i could add some other names in the list) . Both won the baeksang award for portraying a male character , both were the youngest actresses to win this award , both have an unique charm …

I really miss Moon Geun-young in intense roles. I loved her in the first few episodes of Cinderella’s Sister.
