Ice King Park Eun Bin Stirs Up Feelings From Royal Tutor Ro Woo in New Posters and Preview for The King’s Affection
I’m starting to get nervous/excited for the upcoming KBS sageuk The King’s Affection, the more promos I see the more I find the set up totally swoony yet the more I’m super wary of idol-actor Ro Woon tackling his first headlining sageuk role. I think he’s shown plenty of potential and delivered enough in each of the dramas I’ve seen but this one is another level needed. The latest posters, stills, and preview continue to be just so pretty and precious, Park Eun Bin is clearly pulling out all the stops but she’s still a girl pretending to be a boy (to our eyes) but in the sageuk world I can buy that she pulls it off with her haughty coldness. Too bad she’s got a back story with swoony tutor and probably doesn’t mind having a guy as smexy as Ro Woon at her beck and call, other than getting outed for pretending to be a boy/king bit. Eh, what’s a little risk in the name of true love, right?
Preview for The King’s Affection:
I love Park Eun Bin and I love Ro Woon so am hoping this is different and good, please dramagods!!!

This honestly looks AMAZING!!
I love how the power dynamic shifts here, with the FL being the prince/king and the ML being their servant/courtier. And considering how much I love the gender reveals, this is going to be a unique one for sure. Rowoon and Eunbin look so cute together, I’m sure their chemistry is going to be great. Add in the fact that its on Netflix and I don’t have to pirate it somewhere else and we’re gold.
The character posters do look so pretty especially the lady in last photo. (Bottom far right)
While the group photo reminds me of Flower Crew:Joseon Marriage Agency.
that’s Jung Chae-yeon, an idol.
I’m really excited for it. I think I’m more in the mood for fun and colorful dramas.
