The 2022 line up of Netflix K-dramas hasn’t gotten as much attention and buzz compared to the 2021 reveal that was a good ten-deep in big name productions, but then again all that traction from last year will benefit this year even better than pre-airing buzz. One of the dramas on deck is The Sound of Magic (Annarasumanara) which was announced and filmed last year but is only getting approval for airing now. Starring Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Yeop with relative newcomer Choi Sung Eun (of Beyond Evil), the drama is adapted from the same name webtoon and will reportedly have more than one season. Directing is the PD of Itaewon Class and Moonlight Drawn by Clouds so expect lots of gorgeous visuals. The sound also sounds interesting (magic!) but I’m all about how much Ji Chang Wook pulls off the weird and maybe truly magical magician of this drama.
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…

The still is giving me Tim Burton vibes. I wonder if JCW is gonna go for a Willy Wonka interpretation.
oh, this seems interesting! it's been so long since i've wanted to watch a ji chang wook drama lol. his past few projects were just not it.
You should check out his currently airing drama If You Wish Upon Me.
His acting is amazing here. And the drama in itself is wholesome.
I love it.
Not on topic..Koala did you heard about Barbie Hsu marriage to Dzj Koo?
It looks interesting. I'm really curious.
As much of a Ji Chang Wook fan as I am, I still feel like everything he does now has a HUGE question mark on it until proven otherwise.
Have all his fans deserted him in this blog?
