The star falls in love with someone in his/her entourage has been done to death in K-dramas but when done right remains a compelling well to mine interesting situations and dynamics. One of the best was On Air, one of the underrated Kim Eun Sook dramas, and one of the OTPs was the top actress and agency president. It sounds cliched but if romance blossoms it feels like real and reel would make the most practical sense of working out. The new poster and preview is out for tvN entertainment industry backdrop romance Shooting Star with Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae and the two definitely exhibit chemistry in the still poster and in the scenes from the drama in the preview. I do worry her character is a tad too animated and his too subdued but if they complement each other nicely in the narrative and it makes sense why they fall for each other then the differences become well fitted puzzle pieces.

No matter how some ppl criticize Lee sung Kyung, she always brings crazy chemistry with her co-stars. She’s so good at rom-com. I love her acting.
They can criticize all they want, that’s the only thing they can do, LOL. Rooting for these two. It’s a fresh pair to grace the Korean entertainment. Can’t wait for Apr 22 ❤️
